Postium Korea OBM-N240G Overview

Monitor your studio or field production with the quality-control-grade OBM-N240G 24" Wide Gamut QC-Grade LCD Monitor from Postium Korea. Utilizing a wide-gamut DCI-P3-capable 24" LCD display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1200, the OBM-N240G is ideal for HDR monitoring. The full-featured HD/SD broadcast and motion picture production monitor accepts signals at up to 1080p60 and features two 3G/HD-SDI inputs and two 3G/HD-SDI outputs. There is also an HDMI 1.3a input and analog component and composite inputs. The monitor boasts a 178° angle of view, 400 cd/m² brightness, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. A power cable is included with the unit.

DCI-P3 color space is supported with a gamut ratio of 113.02% and total gamut coverage 98.24% for color-critical and QC monitoring applications.

Closed Captioning Support

Closed captioning decoding and display for CEA-708 (HD-SDI closed captioning standard) and CEA-608 (SD-SDI closed captioning standard) are supported via the SDI input.

High Dynamic Range Emulation

High Dynamic Range (HDR) Emulation applies a High Dynamic Range display gamma curve to HDR content with support for PQ EOTF (SMPTE ST 2084), Hybrid Log Gamma, and S-Log3. The HDR function allows you to view both highlights and shadow details within scenes simultaneously, thus resulting in more natural and realistic reproduction. SDR/HDR Display modes provide both full-frame HDR and SDR viewing as well as simultaneous side-by-side split screen comparison.

Color Space Dynamic Range Comparison

Color Space Dynamic Range Comparison (side-by-side, wipe position) allows you to compare different color spaces, gammas, HDR/SDR, camera logs, and other color settings side by side simultaneously. The comparison area can be selected and moved with a vertical wipe pattern.

Focus Assist and False Color

Focus Assist controls the aperture level of a video signal and displays images on screen with sharpened edges to help camera focus operation.

False Color indicates the luma (Y) level of the input image. If a certain Y level is set, the pixels with the designated Y level are displayed with a zebra pattern or a color pattern. There are multiple display modes: zebra, variable, ARRI, and comparison.

HDR Waveform Monitor and Vectorscope Display

HDR Waveform Monitor and Vectorscope Display modes enable users to monitor sources using the internal waveform and vectorscope individually or simultaneously. The position of the waveform and vectorscope can be moved between top left, top right, bottom right, and bottom left.

Built-In Camera Log to Linear Conversion LUTs

The monitor has built-in Camera Log to Linear Conversion LUTs from various camera manufacturers, including Log-C, C-Log, S-Log2, S-Log3, J-Log1, and more. Plus, custom 3D LUTs can be imported for accurate and consistent color matching between different displays and for DIT previews of customized 'looks' that have been created by third party color-grading applications. The LUT-converted content can then be output to downstream devices/monitors via the SDI loop out.

In-Monitor Display

In-Monitor Display (IMD) allows image source names and tally information to be displayed on the screen with an external remote function via Ethernet. TSL system protocol is supported. The color of the source name and tally color is selectable among white, red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, and magenta.

Frame Markers and Mattes

Various frame markers and mattes are available, including aspect, area, and center markers. In addition, the detailed display settings of each marker are allowed. For example, the color, brightness, horizontal/vertical position, and thickness of aspect markers can all be adjusted.

Remote Control via Ethernet

Connect via Ethernet and control the monitor remotely on the network. The System Date Copy Function allows users to save the monitor configuration and adjustment settings and load them to other monitors. This is useful for multiple monitor systems, allowing the transfer of one monitor's setup and adjustment data to another or many.

Transport Vivid Reality into the Virtual World

Pro3 can make indoor and outdoor captures to create a single, high-quality Matterport model of an entire space and its surroundings. The custom 20MP sensor with a 12-element lens covers an ultra-wide angle, producing accurate, detailed digital twins in brilliant, lifelike color, making you feel like you're part of the action.

    Fast LiDAR Scanning

The Pro3's ultrafast, high-precision LiDAR sensor can run for hours, is surprisingly compact, and takes millions of measurements in any conditions. It creates higher-density 3D models with an accuracy of 20mm at 393' and a measurement range up to 328'. At less than 20 seconds per sweep, Pro3 speeds up the scanning process, leaving more time for collaboration.

    Upgraded Accuracy

A greater range combined with faster individual scans makes it possible to capture large spaces in a fraction of the time; the Pro3 scans up to 4X faster than Pro2. Pro3, together with the Matterport advanced cloud processing platform, delivers digital twins that are more accurate, detailed, and true to life than ever before.

Digital twins are no longer confined to indoor spaces. Our breakthrough camera with LiDAR takes millions of measurements in conditions from dim light to direct sunlight, allowing you to experience the great outdoors in immersive detail.

    Enhanced Detail with Digital Twins

Enhanced mesh shows greater detail in 3D models for an improved dollhouse view, accurate measurements, and more accurate tagging. Digital twins help you manage your facilities, down to the smallest detail, with more accurate measurements and estimates for cleaning, repairs, compliance, space planning, and more.

    Long Range, Long Battery Life

Swappable batteries can support all-day scanning. Capturing 3D data up to 328' away at <20 seconds per sweep, the Pro3 speeds up the scanning process, leaving more time for collaborating.

    3D Previews and Metadata

The Pro3 sends your scans to your iPhone or Android phone, and the Matterport software scans the data and stitches the images into a 3D model and 360° panorama in a variety of high-quality model formats such as MatterPaks, E57, floor plans, and BIM files.

You can also create custom metadata and editing using the Matterport API, which allows the use of custom editing applications, connection to Google Street View, and uploading and viewing on other services such as real estate, VR, or modeling websites. Along with viewing the footage on your phone, browser, or editing application, you can also view 3D/VR footage using the Matterport VR application in a VR headset such as Oculus Go, or by using your iPhone or Android phone with Google Cardboard VR.
